the location was perfect, secluded yet still close to Newry and Carlingford. the area was very quiet and our hosts were wonderful. the farmhouse itself was quaint and pretty, with a private entrance and garden area. the bedrooms were well laid out with plenty of storage, and the kitchen was clean and well-equipped for cooking. Despite the hot weather, the sitting room remained cool and fresh. We also appreciated the wood burning stove and central heating for a cozy winter stay. Our daughter was entertained with the provided games. it was a fantastic experience.
Absolutely nothing!

Loved the character and coziness of the farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and the location had stunning views. The steep stairs and temperamental shower were just charming!
Oh, nothing at all. Just a slightly difficult staircase and a shower that likes to play games.

I recently stayed at Quarvue Farmhouse for a week while exploring the Cooley Peninsula. The location is perfect, tucked away at the end of a farm track with stunning views across the valley. The farmhouse itself is charming and cozy, with thoughtfully furnished interiors. Suzanne and Seamus, the owners, were amazing hosts - always available, helpful, and full of interesting information about the area. The wifi and TV reception were excellent. Additionally, the farmhouse served as an ideal base for visiting Carlingford, Greenore, and other nearby attractions, as well as for exploring the Mountains of Mourne and Newgrange. The highlight for my family was the opportunity to visit the horses in the field. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hosts, Suzanne and Seamus, were incredibly welcoming and provided us with great recommendations for places to visit. I especially loved sitting by the cozy turf fire, reminiscing about my childhood visits to my grandmother's house. The location was also perfect, with Newry, Carlingford, and the beautiful Carlingford to Omeath greenway within easy reach.
